It's been dyno proven that an aftermarket cold air intake system improves both the HP and Torque curves on the Polaris Slingshot engine, but what if we could feed cold "outside" air directly into the throat of the filter? Now we can! Introducing one of our absolute favorite mods to date... the Velossa Tech Design Big Mouth Ram Air Intake System for the Polaris Slingshot. The entire purpose of a cold air intake system is to bring in "cold" dense air into the engine to let it breathe. The problem with the Slingshot is even with an aftermarket cold air intake and heat shield, the intake is still breathing in less than desirable air temperatures.

We've partnered up with Velossa Tech Design to help remedy this problem. Velossa Tech is an industry leader in proprietary 3D printed ram air intake systems that force cold "outside" air directly into your air filter. This makes your engine happy and truly defines the term "cold air intake". The VelossaTech system for the Slingshot is a Twin Entry System that features (2) 4" colored flared inlets that snake there way up from the front grille, through the frame rails, under the factory headlight housings and exit with twin dump tubes right at the face of the air filter. Once you see in person how the Velossa system snakes it's way from the front end of the Slingshot to your air filter, you'll immediate gain respect for the talent over at Velossa Tech.

The intake system fits all current Slingshot models and comes with colored flares to match your Slingshot color profile. We've tested and confirmed fitment with all of our aftermarket cold air intake systems from, but not limited to Alpha, DDMWorks, Injen, the OE SLR Intake and even the stock air box. Despite all odds, the guys at Velossa even managed to make this product compatible with both of our aftermarket LED headlight systems.
