If you've looked inside the battery compartment of your Polaris Slingshot you've most likely noticed that the battery Polaris provided from the factory is quite small and doesn't really provide adequate Cold Cranking Amps (CCA) if you plan on adding stereo systems, auxillary lighting, etc. Another problem with the factory battery is that it's lead based and corrodes at the terminals and requires maintenance for longevity.

Our fix for this problem was to partner up with our buddies over at TricLED to introduce an "all aluminum" battery box for the Slingshot that allows you to perfectly integrate a Yellow, Blue or Red Optima SpiralCell Technology Battery. We've designed two battery boxes because the 2016 and 2017+ models Slingshot's utilize different factory battery setups. The Optima bracket itself is laser cut, light weight and all aluminum so it will never rust or corrode like steel.

If you've never used an Optima Deep Cycle Battery you will be amazed at the difference in comparison to stock.

Please make sure the Optima Battery you purchase is no larger than 10" x 6 7/8" x 7 13/16" - We recommend use a D34/78 Optima
