Polaris Slingshot Extended Range Hood Hinge Assist Kit by DDMWorks
If you've ever done work on your Polaris Slingshot engine bay, you've quickly noticed that the stock hood angle minimizes your ability to get in and work on your engine. This brilliantly designed kit from DDMWorks fixes that issue by replacing your factory hood scissor hinge with a billet aluminum extended range kit that allows your hood to open several inches further, to almost a full 90 degree angle. The kit also comes with a hood strut that allows you to slowly close your hood to avoid slamming the hood down each time. The kit has two fixed positions to allow you to open the hood angle from "mild" or "wild" depending on your intentions.
