We currently have four different Slingshot Models at the SlingMods facility, two of which are behind me. One of the things that we noticed happening across all four of our trikes, regardless of frame bar color is that the side bars are starting to show scratches. I think based on how low the Slingshot seating position is.. it's easy to drag a shoe across the side bars especially when exiting the vehicle... leaving unsightly scratches in the beautiful paint finish. This not only prematurely ages the look of the Slingshot but can also play a factor when or if  you decide to sell your machine down the line. To address this issue we've partnered up with Lamin-X to design a 8 mil. Clear Bar Protection Kit that is pre-cut to 3.5" x 4'. The clear material has an adhesive backing allowing for either a wet or dry installation and includes both a water bottle and utility knife. Please make sure that the surface area has been thoroughly cleaned prior to installation for proper adhesion.
