NOT STURDY
Aluminum attachment between bike and backrest bent within three weeks to the point where storage add on behind seat could no longer be opened. Had to remove key to avoid backrest breaking it off in lock. Called customer service and they are sending a new bracket. If this solves the problem rating would be a 5 star. Backrest was great until bracket bent. Suggest Supplier consider a steel bracket instead of aluminum as the backrest is made of.

Can-am F-3 backrest
Good backrest keeps me sitting up straight can ride longer distances without the fatigue setting in as quickly. directions are easy to follow for assembly. The only two things i did were to paint two of the unpainted items and replaced a few of the bolts with stainless steel ones to prevent rust and rust stains. I would recommend this product to anyone that has a F-3.

Great Product, Great Price
This backrest really does the job. Went on a 200 mile trip with my wife over the weekend a just leaned into her. The backrest that is. haha. I looked around and this was much, much cheaper than the alternatives. My wife also digs the removable storage pocket on the backside of the backrest. You can simply unsnap it and take it with you wherever you're going. Thx Slingmod!

Aftermarket Backrest
The backrest for my Spyder F3 Limited works alright. The main support metal of the backrest is rather soft and bends when u lean against it. The support needs to be about an inch taller so the folding mechanism doesn't pinch the front of the passenger seat cover.
