The instructions could have been better locating the tabs for the passenger seat in my opinion. It’ was very hard for me to get to them but that’s more because of my physical limitations. The bracket needed to be bent more to fit in. NOT easy as your video shows. Then the bolt was a little too short to get started. Other than that it’s well worth it. A 4,000 mile trip coming up so I’m sure it will all be worth the frustration of installing it.

Definitely worth the purchase
If you are worried about add ons to your ride, don't fret. Watch slingmods you tube videos on installation. I was able to install the back rest and highway pegs with no issues whatsoever. Slingmods is a go to for any accessories purchase. Two thumbs way up.

Love it...But...
This is an awesome backrest for the money. I can now take long trips on my 2022 RTL without back pain.
The only problem is the darn bracket. I was able to fight to get it in, but because it sits against the square tube, the threaded hole wont come up high enough for the bolt to reach it.
I put the bracket in a vise and slightly bent it with a hammer. (photo attached)
The bracket then slipped right in place and the threaded hole was perfect.
I really think the manufacturer should consider this shape for the bracket. That being said...I love it!

Quite a Buy
It is a great quality product and this a great job in providing back support. I have already used it on a 4 day trip. Putting the bracket on the cycle required me to pry up the baseplate with a large screwdriver and there were no holes marked on the backrest to attach the bracket. Minor setbacks.
