Useful
This is a useful and affordable add but not as easy as the video makes it seem to put in. Take your time and measure and use the templates. The only issue is that it is kind of difficult to get your hand between the lock and windshield to insert the key. Before I had the windshield it was not an issue.

lock does work. A bit tricky to get properly aligned. Gives the appearance of being locked but the glove box can not be properly secured (based on its design.)

Lock your box up!
I feel much better knowing no one will access our glove box while we’re enjoying a hike.

It was easy to install with provided Youtube video. You must have correct Step drill bit to drill hole for lock.
