Adds a sense of security While it's uncomfortable to picture drilling a hole into something you paid 1000s of $ for, to be able to at least deter someone from getting into your stuff, it's a necessary thing to do. The installation was actually less complicated than I thought it would be. Just take care to align & center everything and take your time. A couple of recommendations: 1) The latch that the locking mechanism engages seems to need to be slightly lowered by about 1/8"; as it is there is just a bit of play. I will probably add some width downward to the latch just to secure it a bit more. 2) The mechanism that gets pressed downward to open it is wanting to stick a little bit, but I am assuming that as it is used more, it will start being a little easier to use. 3) The thumb guard wants to rotate just slightly, moving it off center with how it's lined up; not a big deal, just an OCD nuisance. I will probably add a dot of gorilla glue at some point to keep it oriented. All-in-all, a good mod.
