Adjustable Windshield bracket
Like the other reviews the instructions were not great but with a bit of common sense and looking at the pictures posted here it wasn’t difficult. The other reviews comment on the bottom bolt needing another spin knob for ease of adjusting, this is not true because a bolt with a Nylock nut is provided instead. The purpose of a Nylock nut is so you don’t need to tighten it, but instead just enough to hold it in place and still be able to adjust the windshield as needed.
I’m giving this 4 stars but not for these reasons, but because the bracket the mounts to the bike in place of the old bracket does not fit exactly. The bend at the bottom is too much and I needed to put it in a vise to straighten it out a bit so it sat flush on the bike. Also, the sale of it is not exactly the same as the original bracket that came off the bike.

This item accomplished it’s purpose . Directions for mounting could be improved. It would be an improvement if the bottom bolts on the brackets could be hand adjustable and not require a wrench. Over all still well worth the money.

PROS:Extremely well made, precise dimensions for fit, bolts and "slide". Install extremely easy. looks great. Have standard factory windshield.
CONS: The "lower small bolts" that hold the "up/down" slide positioning should be longer with small "tightening" knobs. Whereas just having lock nuts, may have to tighten or loosen slightly with small wrench. This bracket also projects the windshield farther out from the front of Spyder, by 3+ inches, whereas more wind comes up and under windshield. All in all good concept, but needs more adjustability up/down and tilt forward/back.

Manual Windscreen Adjustment for F3
This addition was easy to install (although the instructions and pictures could have been much better) and provides an manual adjustable windscreen (WS) similar to the (electronic operation) RT models. It provides the ability to change WS height for street rides vs highway riding, rather than a "one size fits all" rides WS. That said, what would improve this item would be "adjustable knobs" rather than nuts for the bottom bolts (like the top ones) to more easily make the adjustments. Right now, I must carry an additional open end wrench to complete the adjustment operation.
