Had a hard time installing the kit!
The kit is difficult to install. The nut plate WILL NOT fit under the shock mount on a 2018 SLR LE

Easy to install!
Does what it is supposed to do. Overpriced like everything else for slingshots! I had the S model shock mount so I drilled 2 holes and it worked perfectly.

Lower Shock Mount
I have the base model 2017 and it doesn't have the proper mounting for this kit, however, after drilling the 2 holes required, I am wondering why the license plate was ever located anywhere else. I absolutely am very happy with this product. I love it being down over the lower shock. it is out of the way and gives the rear end a much cleaner look.

That is correct only the "SL" models and higher have the slotted hole in the lower shock mount for this license plate mount. For "Base" and "S" model slingshots, we recommend our "swingarm" mounted license plate holder kits. Thanks for the review.

This time I got it right. The kit I bought moved the plate directly in front of the shock absorber and positioned it to a more attractive look.
