On my 2017 SL I first installed the Upper switch back lights and when TricLED came out with these Lower ones it was a no brainer, I had to add them on also.
You want to make sure you clean and then use the 3M primer on any LED lights you are added. ONE thing you have to be careful with is when installing ONLY push inward on the strips. If you push along the strip you will stretch the black cover out and it will not come out where you want it to.. So just push straight IN when installing.

These lights add a great look when combined with the HALO lights. Installed hooked to fuse block. It take a while to get the wiring ran cleanly. It is really hard to try to get the wires at the end of the lights to tuck out of sight behind wing. The manufacturer should include something to keep it tucked behind the wing, and it would have been nice for them to included more wire. They only supply enough if you buy the fog light adapter kit and hook these into it. Overall I would recommend these, especially if you have the lower brow lights or the halo lights. They look great together.

the item looks good but it stared coming apart the first day the m3 tape started to peel off from the strip so I drilled small hole to zip tie them on the front of sling shot.

***Slingmods Response*** Thanks for the post.. it's important that the plastic area be thoroughly cleaned and prepped with an alcohol prep pad and primer stick before adhering the 3M tape strip to the front end.
