Make her feel more secure. My only complaint is I have to tighten them before every ride. They come loose every ride.

Arm rests come loose
Arm rests are great. However they keep loosening up until they swing out when I make a corner. Picked up some longer bolts and added lock nuts and used the original nut as a jam nut. Replaced allen screws with pan head screw because they were stripping out. Results are better but still not perfect.

The clarity of the enclosed instructions (Pictures) were not very good - appeared to be a copy of a copy of a copy. The install videos online were very helpful.
Worked Better: I found that flipping the trunk over and using the backing plate to mark the third hole was much easier and more accurate than trying to measure it as in the instructions. ALSO - if you can keep the backing plate in place to drill the hole, it will be aligned more accurately, since it needs to be angled a bit.
What I don't like: The arms need to be adjusted quite tightly to keep them from swinging out when riding solo. Wish they had an indent to keep them in place. Adjustment is hit and miss since it is very touchy and based on friction only.
A very good buy (when offered as a special sale price) compared to factory. Can easily use the existing passenger grab bars with the arm rests in place.
Easy to remove if you don't want them on all the time. Remove the arm from the base mount. 5-10 minutes.
