If I was to buy another Spyder the pedal commander would be one of the first things I would add!
It made my cruiser ( RTL ) into a sports bike.
Set on the highest level makes it difficult to ride in slower traffic so I go to eco mode to offset the throttle response.

A good work around
Since the first time I drove my Spyder, I noticed that the throttle was not linear at the bottom of the curve. I inquired about this at the dealer I test rode at and was told they were all like that. While this isn't a perfect resolution, it does help the feeling I was experiencing. I only use the "city" or perhaps the "sport" mode on more open roads myself as I'm not looking to get 3/4 throttle in the first 1/4 turn, but overall I am happy with the result. I think Can Am should do a better job mapping their drive by wire system in the future.
