Can-Am Spyder F3 Limited / RT Limited Top Case Brake Light Flasher
If you'd like to increase your likelihood of being seen by other motorists while out on the open road, then our Top Case Brake Light Flasher from the team over at TricLED is for you. This little guy is 100% plug n' play and installs in just a few minutes. The flasher is compatible with the 2017+ F3 Limited Models and all 2020 & newer RT Limited Models. Once installed, you'll go from a standard brake light to a modulating brake light that flashes 3 times every time you step on the brake pedal, to catch the attention of distracted motorists trailing behind you.

Simple Installation

  1. Access the rear trunk and use a push pin removal tool to remove the two push pins securing the plastic panel that's housing the brake light.
  2. Disconnect the factory brake light connector, add dielectric grease to each connector, and plug in the flasher to the corresponding connectors.
  3. Test the functionality with your ignition on; once confirmed, re-install the body panel and push pins.

Bought this after seeing Jersey Spyder install it on his Spyder! Took all of 5 minutes to connect the cable, and now I have a better stopping solution for motorists!

Can Am really made this Spyder RTL very interesting. Many panels are easy to remove for access and that's great as a new 2020 Spyder owner. (My previous 2012 RTL was much different!)
The panel was very easy to remove, the wiring was easy to access, and placing this was easy peasy. Connectors appear to seal nicely. It does flash the top case brake light well so I feel better about the drivers behind me seeing that I AM stopping! `Now I just need a module for lighting the brake lights when I'm engine braking! ;-) The whole unit appears to be very professionally made. The Quality of the construction is very good.

I ordered this a few months ago but just installed it yesterday -it's winter right now and I can't ride now anyway. I watched the install video and installed it in less than 10 minutes. Works as it should and will hopefully catch the attention of cars traveling behind me.
