Quality Control is an issue for Slingmods...
Great product overall, but I have ordered 10+ items from Slingmods and this is the 3rd time the package did not have all or the correct items. Whether it's a missing set of bolts, a wiring extension missing, or in this case receiving two identical foglight brackets when I need mirror image ones - this is not rocket science. I went ahead and mounted my foglights knowing one would be several inches 'behind' the other vs. waiting (again) for the correct hardware to be sent. I will give Slingmods credit - they do care and will do their best to correct errors, but come on guys. You need a final check on kits to ensure that everything needed is correct and included. There is really no excuse to repetitively send kits that are wrong or incomplete.

I like more visibility at night and I mounted the lights on the fenders instead so the lights can point to the direction I'm turning to. I also didn't want to use the handlebar bracket that came with the kit because I think it loos ugly and make my handlebar looks busy, I don't like it. So I used heavy duty double-sided tape and mounted the on/off switch in the middle of the handlebar rail. The switch is well hidden making the handlebar look cleaner less busy.

I can finally see....
I live in a small town, which means less traffic, and great views, but also no streetlights. These lights make it literally a difference between night and day. They are more expensive, but here, you get what you pay for! I would definitely buy them again if I need driving lights!

Great lights, but mounting and wiring not so good.
The lights gave great output. 2 issues I had were that the mounting brace that attaches to the wheel assembly vibrated and broke off at one of the bends. The second issue was that the wiring into the light itself got pulled during assembly, has a bad connection, and it is not possible to rewire as the assembly is sealed. I have remounted the lights to the handlebar assembly to isolate them from road vibration (using Ram Mounts), and will probably replace the one with the bad connection, but will have to protect the wiring much better. 2nd issues is my bad, but I would like to have been able to repair the connection.
