So after owning our Ryker's for quite some time, we started to notice that the glove box gets quite hot while riding. Almost hot enough to pop some popcorn! Okay it doesn't get that hot, but it does get pretty dang warm, and we've had a number of customers ask us for a solution. So we did what we do and partnered up with DEI to create a heat kit that completely encompasses the underside of the glove box for maximum protection against engine heat. This 8 Piece heat kit is made up of a high performance aluminum sheeting with a polyester & fiberglass core material that has been heat tested in a 475 degree oven for 30 hours to ensure its up for the task of protecting your beloved ryker glove box. It's the same material used in several OE Firewall applications to protect your cabin from unwanted engine and transmission heat. The material is backed with a high strength, high temp backing adhesive that adheres the panels in place!
